Kim Seon Ho made a confession in the latest episode of 2 Days & 1 Night which aired on Sunday (12/9/2021). He claimed to be inspired by DinDin when he played the character Hong Doo Sik in the Korean drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
The confession began when Kim Jong Min praised the success of Hometown Cha Cha Cha which managed to achieve high ratings. Kim Seon Ho responded humbly and said that it was all thanks to 2 Days & 1 Night.
DinDin then asked why Hong Doo Sik always used informal language when speaking, even to foreigners and elders. This is not usually done by Korean people. In response to the question, Kim Seon Ho admitted that he was inspired by DinDin.
"I learned everything from you," said Kim Seon Ho.
"It's very natural, as if someone you know actually talks like that," said DinDin.
Kim Seon Ho admitted that he felt awkward when DinDin spoke in informal language. However, DinDin inspired him to no longer need to do more research to play the character Hong Doo Sik.
"It was you. At first, I was like 'What is this?' But after that it felt full of love. It turned out that I didn't need to do a character analysis specifically for the role," said Kim Seon Ho.
"I'm glad I can be useful for your acting," said DinDin.
In the previous mission, the members of 2 Days & 1 Night competed for a number of prizes including masks with the event's logo from international fans. DinDin hopes to get the mask to give to his father.
However, the prize went to Kim Seon Ho instead. When the gift was finally received by Kim Seon Ho, DinDin asked him to wear the mask with Shin Min Ah.
"You have to wear it with Shin Min Ah and take a photo to show us," said DinDin.
Kim Seon Ho also kept his promise to DinDin by showing off his photo with Shin Min A while wearing the mask. /celebrities.id
