IU recently celebrated 13 years of debut. UENA (IU fans) Indonesia, made a special event to celebrate this day.

On Saturday (18/9) IU's fans in Indonesia gathered in the Gading Serpong area, South Tangerang, to distribute food. They also make food trucks that don't just contain food.

"Because we can't send food trucks to Korea, so we're just in Indonesia. So friends who come are friends of UENA here, they can also take photos. There is also a wish for IU," said Daniel Hermansyah, an IU fan since 2008 at the same time that launched this project.

"They also record videos, then write a wish list on the postcard. We will also send it to Korea later. So hopefully we hope that this can encourage an era like this, right, outdoor activities are safer," he continued.

According to Daniel, IU's fans in Indonesia have raised funds to send a food truck to IU. However, due to the pandemic, this intention was blocked.

Usually, fans or friends of celebrities, send food trucks to the shooting locations of idols or actors. Trucks filled with food or coffee were sent as support.

"Actually, I wanted to send a food truck to Korea. At that time, we actually raised funds with friends from IU Indonesia. Only because of the pandemic, all filming was canceled in Korea," explained Daniel.

"He said don't send the foodtruck first. It's okay. So we make the foodtruck in Indonesia," he added.

The contents of the foodtruck were then distributed to people in the Gading Serpong area, South Tangerang. According to Daniel, this project has been carried out by IU fans in Indonesia for a long time, with different concepts.

"Every year we have to get together. Usually we gather every anniversary. We usually gather at Kopi Chuseyo, in cafes, only we can't get together at cafes. That's why we want to get together and are confused about how. Finally we made an ourdoor event like this. The food truck is just right," concluded Daniel. /hot.detik.com
