BLACKPINK's Lisa has officially become a soloist, after releasing the mini album Lalisa on Friday (10/9/2021). He also showed a different appearance with a forehead without bangs in the video clip.

This BLACKPINK member greeted fans at a global press conference for the mini album as well as the title of his solo debut single, Lalias. He shared a story about his journey in preparing for solo promotions for the first time since his debut as a member of BLACKPINK.

"Preparing for promotions alone feels a bit boring and it makes me miss my members. But I'm still working hard, so please look forward to it," said BLACKPINK's Lisa quoted from Allkpop.

In addition, Lisa admitted that she would display a new hairstyle without bangs for the first time. This was done because he wanted to create a new image as a soloist.

“So I took a big risk and went with a hairstyle that didn't include bangs. I don't think fans have ever seen my forehead without bangs before, so that would be a surprise. I worked really hard on this album and also participated in the arrangement," he said.

Lisa said that in this solo album, there will be nuances of typical Thai music, which is the country of her birth. Lisa also participated in creating the choreography for Lalisa.

"I can participate in album cover photos and even choreography. The point choreography movement is in the chorus of the song. There is also a part where the music shifts to a Thai nuance, and the performance there is also quite good," said BLACKPINK's Lisa.

At the end, Lisa goes into more detail about how she asked her producer Teddy for the Thai-flare song. After hearing the results, Lisa admitted that she was very touched by the distinctive strains of the homeland she missed.

"I told Teddy that I wanted a bit of a Thai feel, and he considered my request and added it. I was very touched, and I loved it," she said. /celebrities.id
