Soojin Leaves (G)I-DLE, Due to Bullying Case?

Cube Entertainment announced that Soojin will be leaving (G)I-DLE. This is shocking news.

As reported by Soompi on Saturday, August 14, 2021, the agency gave a statement on this matter.

“This is Cube Entertainment. First, the agency apologizes for causing concern through the controversy related to our artist Soojin," said Cube Entertainment.

"Today, we announced the decision that Soojin will leave the group," he said again.

Soojin's departure certainly affects (G)I-DLE. At the very least, the South Korean female vocal group will promote with five members.

“We will continue to do our best and provide continuous support so that (G)I-DLE can show their growth in music and performance. Thank you," he said.

Soojin herself has been on hiatus since last March, after people shared online posts alleging that she had bullied other students at school.
