Lucas WayV NCT responds to allegations of gaslighting his ex-girlfriend. He is also referred to as a gold digger alias dredging the wealth of the couple.
NCT's WayV Lucas released an apology. SM Entertainment also gave a response by announcing that it would stop Lucas' activities.
Launching Soompi, on Wednesday (08/25/2021), SM Entertainment released a statement to announce that Lucas will be dismissed from all activities.
"We apologize for causing concern due to the personal life of our artist Lucas," wrote SM Entertainment.
“We recognize the seriousness of this issue and have decided to stop releasing all content for Lucas and Hendery's WayV single “Jalapeño”, including the song and music video which is scheduled to be released on August 25 at 6pm. "
The agency asked Lucas to reflect on the scandal involving the private matter. SM Entertainment confirmed that it took responsibility for what the artist did.
"We once again sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people including fans with Lucas' personal problems," wrote SM Entertainment.
Lucas apologized via his personal social media. He posted a handwritten apology letter in Chinese.
"This is Luke. I apologize to those who were hurt by my wrong behavior. If you give me a chance, I would like to convey my words of apology personally," he wrote.
“I also sincerely apologize to my fans who have given me a lot of love and support. While observing the situation over the past few days, I have looked back on my past behavior and sincerely reflect on it. Looking back on my past behavior, it was clearly wrong, and it was irresponsible behavior that betrayed the support my fans have shown me for a long time," he wrote.
He did not deny the accusations made by his ex on social media. "I will make sure that something like this doesn't happen again, and I will stop all my scheduled activities to take time to reflect on myself," he wrote.
"Finally, I would like to apologize to the members, company staff, many cooperative companies, and broadcasting personnel for causing inconvenience," he wrote.
As is known, recently there was a Chinese netizen who claimed to be Lucas' ex-girlfriend and became a victim of gaslighting. Lucas is said to be good at manipulating his partner and does not hesitate to ask for luxury items to be bought during courtship. /celebrities.id
