Big Hit Music announced BTS will collaborate with Megan Thee Stallion on August 27, 2021. The most successful Korean boy group will sing the rearranged single Butter.

Quoting Soompi, Wednesday (25/8/2021), the single remix of Butter with Megan Thee Stallion promised to be very different. The reason is, Megan Thee Stallion is famous as a rap singer with a distinctive voice.

This collaboration between BTS and Megan Thee Stallion was opposed by the label that houses the rapper. Megan was banned from singing the Butter remix on copyright grounds.

However, Megan Thee Stallion fought back. He asserted, if not allowed to release the song, his career will be destroyed.

Megan Thee Stallion's conflict with her label began in March 2020, when the label banned her from releasing music after she tried to renegotiate the terms of their contract.
