Not long ago 'Girls Planet' announced the faces of the contestants. Starting from Yujin CLC to several Cherry Bullet members, apparently a number of trainees of this program have debuted before.
"Girls Planet 999" has just revealed the faces of the contestants from three countries, namely, South Korea, China and Japan. The contestants or so-called trainees are exposed to welcome the premiere next August.
This competition program was widely created as a new version of "Produce 101". The difference this time is "Girls Planet 999" will feature 99 talented female trainees from three countries to compete. The winner of this competition will later debut in a global K-Pop girl group.
Although the identities of the trainees have not been officially revealed, some of the faces that appear in the "Prologue" video are already known to viewers. The contestants consist of 33 trainees who represent each country.
Several trainees attracted attention because they had debuted before. Unmitigated there are at least 22 contestants who have experienced their debut and are actively promoting with their original girl group.
From Korean trainees who are still active in girl groups including Yujin CLC, Jiwon and Kim Bora Cherry Bullet, Seungeun BVNDIT, and Doa FANATIKICS. Another name that is already well-known but has never debuted before is Huening Kai TXT's younger brother, Huening Bahiyyih.
Meanwhile, trainees from China who have debuted on average come from 48 groups. They are Liang Jiao and Liang Qiao of GNZ48, Ma Yuling and Wang Qiuru of SNH48. As for the contestants from Japan, there is Hirokawa Mao or May Cherry Bullet who is actively promoting in South Korea.
Previously, mentors had praised the abilities of the contestants, some of whom were above average. With contestants who have experience debuting as idols, the competition in this program is expected to be more exciting.
Meanwhile, "Girls Planet 999" will begin airing on August 6. This program will air every Friday at 20:20 local time. (wk/inta)
