Approaching the premiere, tvN held a press conference attended by the cast of "The Devil Judge". On this occasion, Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, GOT7's Jinyoung, and Park Gyu Young discussed their latest project in front of the media.

When watching this drama later, viewers will be transported to a time where South Korea is in the dystopia era. In the midst of the chaos, the court was presented in front of the audience through a live broadcast. The main character is Kang Yo Han (Ji Sung) a judge who is questioned whether he is really a hero or a demon in a mask of justice.

In the drama, Kim Min Jung plays Jung Sun Ah, the executive director of a social responsibility foundation and Kang Yo Han's arch-enemy. When discussing his role, he revealed that Jung Sun Ah is closer to evil than good.

"But I don't think it's fair to just label her as a 'criminal'. She's a woman who has a femme fatale charm but also has a pure heart inside of her," said Kim Min Jung.

Then when asked about his reunion with Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung confessed that time doesn't feel like that long has passed. He even mentioned that Ji Sung hasn't changed much. According to him, the actor still has the same clear look in his eyes, the difference is that now they are more experienced and can work more optimally.

"I remember about a year ago, I thought it would be fun to work with Ji Sung again. It's interesting that I was able to realize that wish so quickly. I think we are both more mature than then," explained Kim Min Jung.

Next, Kim Min Jung shared that because they had acted together in the end, they discussed more before acting. Given that many scenes involve their closeness, he thought it would be awkward to talk about it when they were working together for the first time. So now they have more discussions before starting filming.

Meanwhile, "The Devil Judge" will be broadcast every Saturday and Sunday at 21:00 local time. The first episode can be seen on July 3. (wk/inta)
