My Roommate Is A Gumiho Finished, Jang Ki Yong Immediately Undertook Military Service

Actor Jang Ki Yong has just finished filming with Lee Hyeri in the drama My Roomate Is A Gumiho. The actor was confirmed to immediately undergo military service.

Reported by Soompi, Monday (26/7/2021), Jang Ki Yong enlisted as an active soldier on August 23, 2021. Unfortunately, YG Entertainment as the actor's agency did not mention the location of his client's duty.

"Actor Jang Ki Yong will be enlisting as an active duty soldier on August 23 after completing filming for his drama. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the location and time of his enlistment will not be disclosed," YG Entertainment's official statement said.

The agency asked Jang Ki Yong's fans to pray for the actor to come back healthy and safe.

"This is an unavoidable decision made for the safety of fans and reporters, so we ask for your understanding. Please show support for Jang Ki Yong as he diligently completes his military service and returns in good health," said the YG Entertainment agency.

In the drama My Roommate Is A Gumiho, Jang Ki Yong plays a nine-tailed fox named Shin Woo Yeo. This drama has 16 episodes and is the first meeting between Lee Hyeri and Jang Ki Young in a drama. /celebrities.id
