They also explained about how the allegations spread widely without any validity of the data. As a result, the client filed a criminal complaint against the author of the fake post in order to straighten out the circulating information and reveal the truth.
Ji Soo's lawyer continued, "Through searching and confiscation of IP addresses and other efforts, the author of the fake post was recently identified. It is certain that the perpetrator is someone who has nothing to do with the client at all. The perpetrator is a soldier who recently enlisted. to the military recently. And he admitted to having written the post and that the contents were completely untrue."
Furthermore, Ji Soo's attorney said that the perpetrator apologized through a handwritten letter sent from the military training center. Regarding his motive, the perpetrator stated that he was experiencing anxiety while enlisting in the military, which prompted him to write down the false accusation.
Currently, the perpetrator has sincerely apologized to Ji Soo. In addition, the perpetrator asked for legal leniency because his mother was battling cancer while he was serving in the military.
