GOT7's Jinyoung Launches Single DIVE, Invites Listeners to Dive into the Ocean

GOT7's Jinyoung released a new single titled DIVE. The song can be enjoyed on various digital platforms starting today, Thursday (29/7/2021) at 18.00 South Korean time.

Written and composed by Jinyoung, DIVE is a song based on the band's musical elements. In the midst of the harsh reality of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, DIVE will provide a unique experience.

Listeners will be taken to fantasize of driving on a coastal road and watching the ocean stretch endlessly.

“I focused on the line, 'My world will turn into the sea,' when I wrote the lyrics. It's a song about a kind of 'belief' that if you continue to accept something, whether it's people, love, skills, growth, or whatever, there will come a time when you'll find it filled endlessly like the sea,” said Jinyoung.

He said, DIVE was inspired by personal experiences and hobbies. “I usually like the sea, but I can't go due to various circumstances. On the other hand, I think a lot about the sea, so I wanted to make a song that goes well with the sea, and I also wanted to make a song based on the band's music," he said.

“I wanted to immediately give my fans music, and I worked on it bit by bit in my spare time to keep my promises. Thank you so much for waiting, and I will continue to repay [your love] with music like this.”

The DIVE MV will be uploaded on 1theK's YouTube channel at 7 p.m. KST or one hour after the song's release. /celebrities.id
