Mnet seems to be actively promoting its latest show, 'Street Woman Fighter'. After announcing Kang Daniel as the MC, BoA has reportedly been chosen as one of the judges for the dance competition program.
BoA will be the judge of Mnet's newest competition program, "Street Woman Fighter". Unlike the others, this program is Mnet's first survival competition for female dance crews.
The news of BoA being appointed as a judge for "Street Woman Fighter" was reported by media outlet SPOTV News exclusively on Tuesday (6/7). The owner's real name Kwon Bo A was chosen because he has been widely known as a soloist with extraordinary singing and dancing abilities.
As is known, BoA is one of South Korea's famous soloists. She debuted in 2000 after training for two years and has been a diva ever since. In addition to South Korea, BoA's fame is also recognized in Japan.
Prior to this, BoA had been a judge on the survival show "K-Pop Star" for two seasons. So he has experience as a judge. Not only the judges, he also hosted the "Produce 101" Season 2 program as a representative of national producers.
Meanwhile, "Street Woman Fighter" will contain the competition of eight female dance crews for the number one spot. The eight teams are expected to perform a variety of different street dance styles such as hip-hop, whacking, locking, crumping, and breaking.
This program is led by production leader or PD Choi Jung Nam. Previously, he had worked on dance-themed programs such as 'Dancing 9', “Hit The Stage”, and “Somebody.” The day before, the program announced that its host, Kang Daniel, was chosen because of his image as an idol as well as a talented dancer.
Although there is no further information, "Street Woman Fighter" will premiere around August. Thus this program is in the ranks of Mnet's survival shows along with "Girls Planet 999". For lovers of survival and dance events, stay tuned for updates on WowKeren, okay. (wk/inta)
