Taemin SHINee started his military service on Monday (31/5). Before his departure, the 1993-born singer took time to record a video where he responded to messages from fans for him. The video was then uploaded on SHINee's official YouTube channel.
The clip shows Taemin listening to some voice messages from fans that were sent for him. The first message came from a fan who spoke on behalf of the entire fandom. The “fandom representative” expressed his appreciation to SHINee who worked hard on the new album and promised to continue to accompany the four of them.
Next, the fan representative stated that he would always be ready for Taemin. He also expressed his hope that Taemin would always be healthy and stop apologizing to fans. Fans are committed to supporting SHINee no matter what they do. Finally, SHINee is expected to carry a sexy concept in the future.
After listening to the voicemail, Taemin felt grateful and touched to know that many amazing fans supported him. Then he explained the purpose of the fans' request for SHINee not to apologize and not to get hurt.
Taemin explained, "We really feel your concern for us. When they say things like don't get hurt and don't apologize, I've often heard fans asking the same thing several times. "For example, when we don't take first place or we don't make it on the charts, they will feel disappointed in themselves."
Taemin added that he would promise to stop apologizing and just focus on happy things. For him, just by being liked by fans, SHINee is already happy and doesn't ask for anything more. In return, Taemin also asked for something from the fans.
"I'm sure things like that might happen, but if they do, I feel very sad, so I will try my best not to apologize. So I hope you don't apologize either, let's always and continue to be happy in the future forever. ," concluded Taemin. (wk / wahy)
