Se Wan (Park Se Wan) is a dorm advisor who has various part-time jobs and works very hard to make a living. All the family problems that Se Wan faces make her a tough woman who is always looking for opportunities to make money. Park Se Wan explained, “My character always hoped that the world would end soon, and that's where the title of the series came from.” Even though sometimes things feel worthless, Se Wan feels comfortable when she is with her friends and experiences some precious moments.

Rising actor Shin Hyeon Seung plays Jamie Houston, a freshman who is attracting the attention of many for his good looks. Shin Hyeon Seung said, “Jamie doesn't know much about the world, and I think it's a bit like me. Jamie is an innocent and focused person on what he likes.” Despite being very charming and popular, Jamie doesn't realize this and makes him a humble person. Unaccustomed to living in Korea, Jamie finally finds many interesting adventures.

Choi Young Jae, known as the main vocalist of the K-pop boy group GOT7, plays a Korean student from Australia named Sam. He also commented on his first acting experience through 'So Not Worth It', "This is the first time I'm showing this side of me to fans. I hope they find a new side of me.” Sam became the youngest student among the bunch and was a thug known for boasting and exaggerating things. He is an adorable con artist who always gets caught because his ears turn red when he lies. Even though his character was very silly, he actually also had a pure heart.

Minnie

Another K-pop idol who fills this series is Minnie, a member of the girl group (G)I-DLE. Her character with the same name as her is a sophomore in the Korean content department. She is a true fashionista and loves clubbing like most college students. Minnie described her character as a huge fan of Korean dramas and “falling in love with ‘Crash Landing on You’ and Hyun Bin”. Minnie's character is also described as having experience as a K-pop group trainee who was recruited while accompanying a friend to audition.

Han Hyun Min

Han Hyun Min's character also has the same real name and age as the cast. Han Hyun Min said that his character “had to take a five hour round trip from Icheon city, so he tried to live in a dormitory. He is a pure and innocent person.” As a Korean, he couldn't stay in the international dormitory, but he sneaked in anyway due to his long journey. Despite often encountering challenging and funny situations, Hyun Min maintains his determination and positive nature.

Joakim Sorensen is known as a panelist for the talk show Love of 7.7 Billion. As someone from Sweden, he says, “I traveled far from the jungle in Sweden and I'm a Netflix fan, so I can't believe I'm now on a Netflix sitcom with such great cast”. His character as Hans is very strict with the rules, except that it makes him uncomfortable. Hans is sometimes considered arrogant and can become obsessed with something he enjoys. Despite the many rules, he is a unique friend figure in the group.

Carson Allen

Carson also explained about his character with the same name, “He is a person who doesn't like makeup and doesn't care about his appearance. As a senior, he is often referred to as a parent by many other students. My character is considered like an older sister.” Often issuing quotes that make him seem old, Carson has a big appetite and an equally big heart.

Terris Brown

Terris Brown's character also has the same name as the original cast. Terris explained, "There are some similarities between me and this character, but Terris in 'So Not Worth It' is much more confident. I'm more shy, but the way he loves his friends is similar to mine. I am not a Casanova in real life”. Terris in this series is a figure who knows everything and is described as a charmer of women. He also added, "My character is indeed a Casanova, but that doesn't mean he is close to several people at once, he just follows his heart". Although sometimes like to show off, Terris' character is a friendly person.
