Lee Hyun Woo was suddenly revealed to be joining the Korean version of the drama 'Money Heist' and would become Rio, which was previously confirmed to be played by Actor Park Jung Woo.
Some time ago, South Korea did announce that it would make the popular Spanish series "Money Heist". This Spanish drama is known to be very popular, especially since it can be enjoyed by the global community through Netflix.
Netflix Korea also revealed the main cast for "Money Heist" some time ago. However, it turns out that Rio's character was finally replaced.
Today, Monday (31/5) Netflix Korea revealed that actor Lee Hyun Woo will join the drama "Money Heist". Lee Hyun Woo will take the role of Rio in this drama.
Previously, the character of Rio was announced to be played by Park Jung Woo. However, due to scheduling problems, Lee Hyun Woo was eventually replaced by Lee Hyun Woo.
The Korean version of "Money Heist" will be directed by the director of "The Guest", "Voice", and "Black", namely Kim Hong Seon. While the script was written by the writer of "My Holo Love" and "Psychopat Diary", Ryu Yongjae.
The Korean version of "Money Heist" will temporarily use the title "The House of Paper". However, this title may change when it is released.
Until now, the confirmed cast members are Yoo Ji Tae as Professor, Kim Yun Jin as Sun Woo Jin, Park Hae Soo as Berlin, Jun Jong Seo as Tokyo, Lee Won Jong as Moscow, Park Myoung Hoon as Jo Young Min, Kim Sung Oh as Cha Moo Hyeok, Kim Ji Hoon as Denver, Jang Yoon Ju as Nairobi, Lee Joo Bin as Yoon Mi Sun, Lee Hyun Woo as Rio, Kim Ji Hoon as Helsinki, and Lee Kyu Ho as Oslo.
"Money Heist" is planned to be released in the second half of 2021. The drama will also be shown on Netflix as a Spanish version. However, the exact release date is still unknown.
"Money Heist" tells the story of Professor (Yoo Ji Tae) planning an ambitious robbery that will result in massive payments. For his plan, the Professor looks for potential team members. The recruited members chose the name of the city as their code name and they all had strong personalities.
