Recently, the film "Everglow" became a conversation because it brought a love story of different ages. The main character Ji Hyun Woo has just shared his experience of acting romantically with Go Doo Shim who is 33 years older than him.

On Wednesday's episode of "Park Ha Sun's Cinetown" (23/6), Ji Hyun Woo talked about his reputation as a "national younger male couple" since acting in the drama "Old Miss Diary". The actor shared that at that time the director told him not to laugh because he shouldn't look young.

While in "Everglow", Ji Hyun Woo acted with veteran actress Go Doo Shim. His character, Kyung Hoon, will fall in love with Jin Ok (Go Doo Shim) who is 36 years his senior. This film tells the story of a producer who goes to Jeju Island to make a documentary about a diver but finds love there.

It was revealed that it took the actor three weeks to decide whether or not to take on the role. Then Ji Hyunwoo talked about how the two characters fell in love even though their age range was too far apart. Also about how the characters share special moments and fall in love with each other.

"When I first reviewed the script, I thought it was well written. I can understand and sympathize with this character, and I think the audience can understand it," said Ji Hyun Woo.

When asked about the age difference between the characters, Ji Hyun Woo also wondered if viewers could feel the love they were experiencing. "But she's also a woman... when someone who isn't properly loved feels love, I think everyone of any age will feel the same way."

Meanwhile, "Everglow" will premiere on Wednesday (30/6). This film has piqued viewers' curiosity about how a loving relationship can exist between two different generations of people. (wk/inta)
