iKON Becomes the Second YG Boy Group to Officially Join Weverse

On Monday (21/06), YG Entertainment announced that iKON has officially joined the Weverse platform.

iKON is the second YG Entertainment boy group to have joined Weverse, after the rookie boy group TREASURE.

To celebrate their joining the Weverse platform, iKON plans to release episodes 3 and 4 of the behind-the-scenes content of the 'Kingdom: Legendary War' program on Mnet. iKON will also continue to release photos and videos that they have never released before through Weverse.

YG Entertainment had previously announced their strategic partnership with HYBE and Weverse Company. YG Entertainment said, "While building innovative models that can provide fans with new experiences, our vision is to use the global power of our agency's artists to expand their influence."

Meanwhile, iKON is known to have last released the single 'Why Why Why' in March and recently participated as a contestant on the 'Kingdom: Legendary War' program. (www.kpopchart.net)
