Go Min The Debate With His Father, 'Youth Of May' Is Getting More Curious

Towards the end of the story, "Youth of May" shared the latest stills. If viewers are usually curious about the relationship between the characters Go Min Si and Lee Do Hyun, this time KBS shows something else.

This drama tells about the romance that grows between Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) and Kim Myung Hee (Go Min Si) in the midst of the May 1980 riots. This event is one of the important historical records for South Korea.

The two have known each other since Kim Myung Hee replaced Lee Soo Ryeon (Geum Sae Rok) on a date with Hwang Hee Tae. As time goes by, their feelings deepen despite facing many obstacles.

In the latest stills, Kim Myung Hee continues the argument with Kim Hyun Chul (Kim Won Hae). As before, Kim Myung Hee always gets emotional when he talks to his father. Determined to leave Gwangju with Hwang Hee Tae, he refuses to return to Naju with his father and sister even though Kim Myung Soo (Jo Yi Hyun) hugs him while crying.

In the previous episode, Kim Hyun Chul arrived in troubled Gwangju with the aim of bringing his children home. Worried about Gwangju's current situation, he tried to convince his daughter to return to her hometown. However, after martial law came into effect, Gwangju's condition became even more tense.

When Kim Myung Hee argues with his father, he hears the news that Hwang Hee Tae was involved in a traffic accident. The ambulance he was traveling in was hit by a high-speed car. The scene looks suspicious, because the car that hit Hwang Hee Tae's ambulance seemed to have done it on purpose.

The situation became even more critical when a military blockade that prevented anyone from entering or leaving downtown Gwangju City approached the hospital. This arouses curiosity about how this conflict between father and son ends in an increasingly tense situation.

Meanwhile, episode 11 of "Youth of May" will be broadcast on Monday (7/6). This drama airs every Monday and Tuesday at 21:30. With the last two episodes remaining, this drama will be replaced by "Blue Spring From A Distance" next week. (wk/inta)
