Kim Shin Young asked Yuna if she had a chance to check her bank account. Yuna's answer surprised Kim Shin Young and all radio listeners.
Brave Girls comeback with the summer song "Chi Mat Ba Ram" and this is their first comeback after skyrocketing because of the viral song "Rollin'". Who would have thought that even though they are now famous, the girl group apparently still hasn't received payment.
On Wednesday (23/6), Yuna and Eunji became guests on Kim Shin Young's radio program, "Noon Song of Hope Kim Shin Young" where they discussed various topics. The members began their interview by expressing their bewilderment over all the current popularity.
Brave Girls' comeback song has taken first place on various music charts since its release, which is something they are not used to achieving. "Our best ranking was when we previously promoted 'High Heels.' We made it into the charts at 76th place. It still doesn't feel real that we're in first place," Yuna said.
After this conversation, Kim Shin Young asked Yuna if she had a chance to check her bank account. Yuna's answer surprised Kim Shin Young and all radio listeners. "We have not received any income," said Yuna.
However, he went on to share that even though the Brave Girls members have not been paid for successful promotions, their CEO and label founder, Brave Brothers still gives them allowance money. "Our CEO previously gave us an allowance to use when we moved. It's in my account. It's enough to show off," he said.
Yuna did not end her story there and recalled the touching moment when she was able to give some of her money to her mother. "With the money, I could have given it to my mom, but she started crying so I was shocked. It wasn't even a huge amount, but seeing her cry about it made me think 'I wonder how much more she will cry in the future.' Anyway, mother, please be happy," Yuna said.
But don't worry, Yuna shared with all radio show listeners that Brave Girls will soon be getting paid for their earnings. "We will receive payment of our earnings around July," he said.
Meanwhile, Brave Girls previously revealed that they had signed more than 25 advertising contracts consisting of clothing brands, chickens, video games, apartments, and more. All of this was achieved in just 2 months, starting from the time they re-promoted "Rollin'". (wk/goddess)
