1. Second comeback in 2021
Unlike other K-Pop idols, WEi is the only group to release their newest album in the near future. Before releasing IDENTITY: Action, last March it was known that WEi had released a mini album entitled IDENTITY: Challenge.
IDENTITY: Action is the third mini album released since its debut last October 2020.
2. The Last Album of the IDENTITY Series
WEi's journey with the IDENTITY series album is finally coming to an end. After IDENTITY: Challenge and IDENTITY: Action received positive responses from K-Pop music lovers, WEi will officially close the IDENTITY series with the launch of IDENTITY: Action which will be released on June 9.
3. Contains 5 Songs
Just like the first mini album, IDENTITY:Challenge will also contain five songs, consisting of White Light, Waitin, Ocean and 16th Star and choose BYE BYE BYE as the main song. BYE BYE BYE is a song that has an addictive beat and hook melody, which is about the courage and domination of youth.
4. Three Members Involved in Song Making
Jang Dae Hyeon, Yoo Yeong Ha and Kim Yo Han are also known to have participated in making the rap song BYE BYE BYE. Besides composing the rap parts, Jang Dae Hyon also contributed ideas in composing the lyrics for the songs 16th Star and Ocean.
5. The MV teaser that makes you curious
Ahead of its release, yesterday (07/06) WEI has released a teaser for the music video for the song BYE BYE BYE on their official YouTube channel. In the teaser, the members leaked the choreography of BYE BYE BYE equipped with brightly colored clothes and summer-style nuances.
