"I received a call to come to management after filming Her Bucket List, talked to my CEO for over an hour and as an actor, I feel concerned that the River Where the Moon Rises project is in danger of being canceled," he said in an interview with W Korea.
Na In Woo later revealed that he immediately met director Yoon Sang Ho the day after. He did voice recording, costume fitting, and the next day Na In Woo went straight to the set.

"I often don't sleep because there are 20 to 40 scenes I have to do in a day. Filming for River Where the Moon Rises started early in the morning and after finishing this schedule, I immediately shot Her Bucket List at night. In the morning, I returned to the location again.
