On the new episode of 'Running Man', the members are seen teasing about the news of Lee Kwang Soo's resignation to mention that these 2 celebrities are expected to replace their positions.
In April, fans of the program "Running Man" were suddenly shocked by the news that Lee Kwang Soo was leaving. Lee Kwang Soo resigns after 11 years due to health problems.
The members of "Running Man" also looked teasing about Lee Kwang Soo's withdrawal in the new episode that aired yesterday, Sunday (30/5). Filming is known to have taken place after news emerged about Lee Kwang Soo's resignation.
The members of "Running Man" even made Lee Kwang Soo annoyed by mentioning choosing a long hairstyle to look sad. Not only that, the members of "Running Man" also teased Lee Kwang Soo by revealing the celebrities he hoped would replace.
[SPOILER] Yoo Jae Seok, Yang Se Chan, HaHa, and Kim Jong Kook composed a two-character acrostic poem on the word "ha-cha," which means "to step back" in Korean. Yoo Jae Seok quipped through his poetry, "If we have to get one more member (ha-na means 'one' in Korean), it will be Cha Eunwoo."
"If we get one more member, it will be Cha Tae Hyun," said HaHa. "Stop it (ha-jima), jerk ** k (cha-sik, a play on the actual word ja-sik)," exclaimed Lee Kwang Soo.
Yoo Jae Seok also hilariously mentioned that he would continue to tease Lee Kwang Soo in his last recording on "Running Man". Lee Kwang Soo himself has finished his last recording on (24/5).
“What if we tease him so much over the next two weeks about resigning that he says, 'I'm just going to stay after all?'” Yoo Jae Seok suggested hilariously.
At the end of the episode, it was revealed that HaHa's son, Dream, made a surprise appearance on the show. "Has Dream come to replace Lee Kwang Soo?" said Yoo Jae Seok again teasing Lee Kwang Soo.
"Since Lee Kwang Soo resigned, please continue to stop the other members' speeches as well," Dream said. "Don't worry. It's something I'm very good at," said Yoo Jae Seok.
Although the members joked about Lee Kwang Soo's replacement, the staff of "Running Man" has confirmed that there hasn't been any talk of it yet. "Running Man" will be shooting with the rest of the members after Lee Kwang Soo leaves.
Lee Kwang Soo himself became a permanent member of "Running Man" from the start along with Yoo Jae Seok, HaHa, Kim Jong Jook, Ji Suk Jin, Gary, and Song Joong Ki. Song Ji Hyo became a permanent member after several episodes. Song Joong Ki then left "Running Man" in episode 41 and Gary withdrew in 2016.
