KBS officially banned broadcasting of JB GOT7's new solo single entitled "Switch It Up". This decision was certainly not without reason, because according to KBS the song was quite controversial.

On Tuesday (18/5), the KBS music review committee stated that the song "Switch It Up" was not suitable for broadcast by KBS general standards. The ban was due to "Switch It Up" having "lyrics depicting sexuality excessively".

For information, "Switch It Up" was first released on May 14th. This song was composed by Cha Cha Malone, JB, and Jay Park. While the lyrics were written by JB, Sokodomo and Jay Park.

That's why JB can't promote his song on various music programs and KBS TV shows. This certainly caused considerable losses for the 1994-born idol.

Meanwhile, JB recently attracted controversy after a number of photos of naked women appeared in his live broadcast on Instagram, Thursday (13/5). Fans quickly realized this problem and worried that minors would also watch the live broadcast.

JB's new agency, H1GHR MUSIC, has provided a clarification explaining that the photo is a work of art by a famous photographer. They also revealed that JB liked various aspects of art and photography, so they displayed the work in his room.

JB has also personally apologized via uploading on the Instagram story feature, last Friday (14/5). He also promised to be more careful so as not to make fans worry in the future. (wk / eval)
