NCT Dream has been confirmed to be comeback with seven members including Mark Lee, who was previously announced as having graduated from the group. Now, SM Entertainment makes fans even more impatient looking forward to their comeback by presenting the latest content.
On Thursday (1/4) at midnight, NCT Dream released a new video entitled "Cafe 7 Dream". This sweet video shows the interesting and adorable experience when the seven members of NCT Dream open a cafe together.
The video shows everything from the planning process to the moment the cafe opens. Each member has their respective roles where Jaemin and Jeno become baristas, Mark and Haechan make bread and cakes, Renjun designs, Chenle becomes manager and Jisung becomes a researcher.
Previously, NCT Dream was reported to be making a long-awaited comeback this April. This marks nearly a year since their last comeback with the mini album "Reload" in April 2020.
Responding to the news of NCT Dream's comeback, SM Entertainment as the group's agency confirmed that Jaemin and his friends would comeback in April. However, it is not certain whether this time NCT Dream will release a full album or a mini album.
This comeback is highly anticipated, not only because of the long hiatus, but also because Mark will be joining them. Mark was previously announced to have graduated from the group in 2018. This is due to the age restriction system previously applied to NCT Dream.
Given the system, the other four members Renjun, Haechan, Jaemin and Jeno will graduate last year. However, SM Entertainment announced changes in the system to keep the group together instead of rotating as originally planned. Mark was later announced to be rejoining the group. (wk / dewi)
