Since their debut, SEVENTEEN (II) and its members have been growing more and more successful every day. Recently, SEVENTEEN is gaining a lot of popularity outside of Korea. From performing for “The Late Late Show With James Corden” to their interview with the “Mini Masterclass Grammy Musem”, SEVENTEEN is expanding its domain.
The four members of SEVENTEEN, THE8, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Jeonghan recently expressed their feelings for Cosmopolitan Korea regarding their increasing global popularity. During their interview, the four charming members claimed that although they are happy with their increasing global success, they have had to face hardships due to the ongoing pandemic.
"Is it because of strong solidarity? Apart from the pandemic, SEVENTEEN is expanding its scope not only to domestic fans, but also global fans. Earlier this year, you appeared on "The Kelly Clarkson Show", "The Late Late Show," as well as the "Mini Masterclass Grammy Museum". I (Cosmopolitan interviewer) think they must be more meaningful because they are promoting overseas during the current COVID-19 situation, ”asked the interviewer.
"It would be great if we could perform and feel the real heat of the stage in a real studio. Still, all the members put their energies into it and made a satisfying performance," said Mingyu.
Mingyu also mentioned how much he enjoyed the concept of their "The Kelly Clarkson Show" and "The Late Late Show". "In 'The Late Late Show With James Corden', I liked the 'HOME; RUN' stage where we dressed like staff members and we filmed it in one shot. For 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', I enjoyed our office concept," continued Mingyu.
Jeonghan shared that with all the great planning and hard work they put in, appearances are performances he will never forget. "After the concept for both stages was decided, we were able to add an element of detail, and I think a stage with a higher quality has resulted from that.
