Hoshi Seventeen (II) is making another breakthrough after successfully surprising fans by announcing a solo mixtape titled "Spider". The owner of the real name Kwon Soonyoung is rumored to be granted fans' requests by performing his new song on stage.

According to Naver, Hoshi will reportedly appear on the music show "M! Countdown" performing "Spider". Hoshi is scheduled to appear on "M! Countdown" later on April 8, 2021. This decision was made by Hoshi due to the many requests from fans for him to perform his first solo song.

Even though it has not been officially released, Hoshi has managed to amaze through the teaser video uploaded on Seventeen's official Twitter and YouTube on Wednesday (31/3). In the video, the 24-year-old singer shows a dynamic and bold dance with expressive body movements. The beauty of Hoshi's appearance is supported by the artistic backdrop and play of light.

Before the plans for the release of this solo mixtape were announced, Hoshi was known as one of the best dancers that Seventeen has. So it's no surprise that fans want Hoshi to perform his first solo song on stage. Plus the dance footage in the teaser video increases fans' curiosity.

Mixtape albums are generally released by the artist independently and for free so that fans can listen to them for free. Meanwhile, "Spider" is different by presenting an extra component in the form of a complete choreography of the main song. It seemed that Hoshi had prepared his first mixtape with great care and dedication.

As is known, Hoshi's career grew rapidly with Seventeen. Since its debut, Seventeen has been making a name for itself through hit songs and iconic dances. In this case, Hoshi is in charge of creating the choreography for the group. (wk / wahy)
