YG Entertainment has been criticized for their way of giving statements regarding the problems that have befallen their artists.
Jennie BLACKPINK has recently drawn controversy among Korean netizens, for allegedly violating health protocols by gathering more than 5 people in one place.
After receiving a lot of criticism from netizens, Jennie immediately deleted the photo from her Instagram account on April 14.
The arboretum where Jennie took the photo then clarified that Jennie did not violate health protocols, because the photo was taken when she was shooting for video content and was not taken when she was hanging out with colleagues.
A few days after becoming a controversy, YG Entertainment only gave their clarification on Saturday (17/04).
Media Newsen then criticized the YG Entertainment agency for not responding to the artist's controversy swiftly and quickly, so that Jennie had to receive a lot of criticism from netizens and only the arboretum provided clarification.
In March, Jennie's fans also sent trucks to the YG Entertainment building to urge the agency to pay more attention and protect the artist. Newsen mentioned that YG Entertainment should be quicker to give a statement, rather than being selective in giving their official statement. (www.kpopchart.net)
