The JBJ95 members filed a lawsuit for terminating their contracts against Star Road Entertainment's agency.

According to reports on Tuesday (14/04), Takada Kenta and Kim Sang Kyun filed a lawsuit against the Star Road Entertainment agency through the Seoul West District Court.

The two asked for contract termination and detailed reasons for contract cancellation, such as negligence in management which caused difficulties in managing their schedules.

Reportedly, the entire staff including the manager, had left the agency because of their unpaid wages.

JBJ95 members also reportedly covered all their accommodation costs, including transportation costs.

A representative from Star Road Entertainment then stated, “We apologize for the lawsuit that was filed while the company was in trouble. No manager is in charge. The manager at the company was there, but the staff left the company, so the executives also helped organize JBJ95's schedule. ”

"The production team was willing to prepare staff for the members while they were filming, but the members refused to do so and immediately recruited staff themselves".

“The company has scheduled several events to deal with difficult times, but the JBJ95 members turned it down. It doesn't make sense to file a lawsuit like that in the middle of the hard times the agency is going through ”.

The JBJ95 member also commented, “We are sorry for worrying people through the difficult times during COVID-19. We sincerely thank the fans who made JBJ95 possible and gave us their support and love as well as the staff who always gave us great help. We hope to welcome you with a more mature image, ”said the members.

Previously, the Star Road Entertainment agency was also sued for not being able to pay for the production costs of an online fan meeting event. (www.kpopchart.net)
