Talking about the songs, IU discussed the chorus of her 2017 hit, "Palette." The 1993-born singer said that the lyrics have to do with her acceptance of herself.

"The reason I wrote the lyrics 'I think I know a little now (who I am)' is because I felt that there was nothing left that could make me more disappointed in myself or surprised by myself. I was finally able to accept my shortcomings and strengths. can like myself, "said IU.

IU also talked about the inspiration for her beloved 2017 ballad, "Through the Night". In fact, the lyrics of this song are related to their relationship with the people closest to them.
