BLACKPINK's Rosé managed to set two Guinness records at once with her debut solo song, "On The Ground".
Rosé is known to have just made his solo debut with the single '-R-' on March 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. KST.
On April 9th, Guinness World Records announced that the music video for “On The Ground” has been named as the K-Pop solo artist's music video to get the highest number of views in 24 hours.
The music video for "On The Ground" previously managed to gain 41.6 million views in 24 hours, breaking PSY's "Gentleman" music video record which reached 38.4 million views in 24 hours.
In addition, Rosé has also become the first Korean artist to top the Billboard Global chart both as a group and as a soloist. Guinness World Records congratulated him by saying, "This is probably just the beginning of the many records he will break as a solo artist."
