Kim Heechul is currently in a public relationship with Momo TWICE. However, the Super Junior member did not seem to hesitate to discuss his ex-girlfriend on television.

On the March 26 episode of the KBS television show "Hits Song", Kim Heechul talked about his ex-girlfriend. Heechul shared why he wanted his ex-girlfriend to be successful after breaking up.

In the episode, Kim Heechul revisited the 2001 hit song "Because I'm a Girl" by girl group Kiss with co-host Kim Min Ah. The senior idol from SM Entertainment said that he felt the lyrics were scary.

Kim Heechul explained, "The song reads, 'I don't want things to go well for you. Why are you happy with that pretty girl?' It's kind of a curse on an ex. "

In response, Kim Min Ahh replied, "Well, but wouldn't you feel annoyed if things went too well for your ex after breaking up with them?"

Surprisingly, Kim Heechul revealed that he actually wants all of his ex-girlfriends to be more successful after breaking up. "If, by chance, things are bad for them, I don't want people to say their life was ruined because they dated me," she said.

Kim Heechul then continued, "So, I always hope that they will do better and be more successful than before."

Meanwhile, Kim Heechul and Momo are known to have been close since 2017. However, Heechul admitted that the two of them started dating not long before it was revealed to the public in January 2020. Until now, their relationship is still ongoing.

In other news, Kim Heechul and Super Junior have just made a comeback with their new album "The Renaissance". In this album they performed the much-awaited title song "House Paty". Evidently, just a few days after being released, the comeback MV had been watched 10 million times. (wk / chus)
