The continuation of Sunggyu INFINITE's contract with Woollim Entertainment is currently a question. In his latest live broadcast, INFINITE's leader confirmed that he will not renew his contract with the agency.

According to the broadcast, Sunggyu's contract will expire on March 6, 2021. The 1989-born singer assured fans, however, that INFINITE will remain as a group and hope to carry out promotions together.

"We will continue to promote as a group. And I know of course there are worries ... But I hope you can support and love us, more than worrying about us. Only with your support, we can try harder and we can improve, "said Sunggyu.

Sunggyu especially pointed out that he will not leave INFINITE. "I'm INFINITE. How did I get out of INFINITE? There's no need to worry, really. And I know where it came from, but please know that I'm completely dedicated (to INFINITE)," said Sunggyu.

Finally, Sunggyu left INFINITE's fans in joy after he revealed that a new album is coming soon. This will be the last album of the owner's full name Kim Sunggyu before he leaves Woollim Entertainment.

INFINITE debuted in 2020 with a song called "Come Back Again" and the following year, they had success with "Be Mine" which saw the group win their first music show win. In the middle of this year, INFINITE will celebrate their 11th debut anniversary. (wk / dewi)
