Key SHINee lives in a luxury house with several floors. Like how hard he had worked to get it, Key now lives alone in comfort. He shared the reason why he decided to leave SHINee's dorm.
Key revealed that sometimes, when we stay with other people for too long, we start feeling resentful from everyday life together. Since SHINee has been active for more than 10 years, it is inevitable that they have seen all sides of each other.
Key likens it to a long-married couple, where we may get annoyed with the way our partner eats. MC Jun Hyun Moo agreed when he said that sometimes couples even hate when other people breathe.
"When we have no activities, we see each other more often (in the dorm) because we are not allowed to go out too often. One day, even seeing the other members walking around is annoying. Sometimes I even hate seeing them eat. , "said Key.
Key shared that the turning point came when he watched television one day and Minho walked out of the room. Key was so annoyed that he wanted to run and hit Minho.
"One day when I was watching TV, Minho came out of his room and suddenly I wanted to hit the back of his head. Suddenly (wanted to do it). That's when I found out that I had to leave the dorm," said Key.
Key then realized that he needed to move quickly to prevent a rift from occurring. All members are as close as family, and family is often underestimated. Key felt that if this continued, they might hurt each other emotionally and that's why he made the choice to stay alone.(wk / dewi)
