Recently Seunghee OH MY GIRL was reported to have received unpleasant behavior from producers and artists TANK. After deciding to take the case to legal action, WM Entertainment announced plans for a comeback for OH MY GIRL.
The comeback plan after the tense news is like a breath of fresh air for fans. Reporting from Naver, WM Entertainment stated, "OH MY GIRL is preparing for a comeback for next May."
OH MY GIRL's comeback came exactly a year after the album "Nonstop" was released in April last year. The comeback girl group consisting of Hyojung, YooA, Seunghee, Binnie, Mimi, Jiho, and Arin is expected to follow the success of the previous album.
Previously, OH MY GIRL has scored achievements with "Nonstop" and "Dolphin". Apart from winning the trophy eight times, the two songs were ranked number one on the music chart alternately. OH MY GIRL then won the position as a top girl group after their song achieved an all-kill on the South Korean music charts.
"Nonstop" is reportedly on the platinum list after surpassing 100 million screenings on Gaon's domestic chart. In addition, OH MY GIRL also won the "2020 Brand of the Year" award in the female idol category.
Additionally, OH MY GIRL received a Top 10 award at the "2020 Melon Music Award (MMA 2020)". Then, the main award at the "2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards". Then it took home a digital award at the "35th Golden Disk Awards". OH MY GIRL's breakthrough didn't stop there, they also won the main award at the "30th Seoul Music Award".
As is well known, OH MY GIRL debuted with “Cupid” in 2015. They attracted the attention of the public because of their cute concept which contrasts with the powerful choreography. OH MY GIRL has been gaining more and more after participating in "Queendom" and showing their charms with totality.
