Taeyong NCT recently created his personal Instagram account. Immediately after opening, the account reached one million followers in less than two hours of being announced via a V Live broadcast.
Taeyong's account name @EH_ovo_nct actually mentions his name in Korean characters followed by NCT. Fans were delighted that he broke the record for "Harry Potter" star Rupert Grint.
Rupert Grint gained one million followers in four hours when he revealed his account in 2020. Grint's record is listed under Guinness World Records.
However, the official Guinness World Records recently clarified that Taeyong's achievements failed to record in their book. Why?

According to the guidelines, Taeyong made his first Instagram video post hours before he revealed the account on a live broadcast. According to the book, the time from the first post is the standard by which they measure the fastest way to reach a million followers.
If Taeyong had posted after he disclosed his account, Guinness World Records would have listed him as a record breaker. Too bad, yes.
Meanwhile, Taeyong opened a personal Instagram account following Mark Lee. Now he can freely communicate with fans both through posts and live broadcasts.
Taeyong has been on hiatus from NCT activities since the end of last year due to health problems. But fortunately, the singer of "Make a Wish" has returned to greet fans via a live broadcast to announce his Instagram account.
