Sisyphus Drama Review: The Myth, The Puzzle of the Suitcase and the Hidden Man

JTBC aired the first episode of Sisyphus: The Myth on February 17. The drama, which filled the Wednesday-Thursday drama slot, immediately won high ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea, the drama's premiere episode starring Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung Woo recorded an average rating of 5.608 percent. The second episode which aired on February 18 also increased, recording an average rating of 6.677 percent.

At the beginning of the drama, viewers will be introduced to the character Han Tae Sul (Cho Seung Woo), a genius engineer who owns the famous company Quantum and Time. Despite living a luxurious life, Tae Sul often hallucinates about his brother Tae San who has passed away. He even took drugs to overcome this.

One day the plane that Tae Sul was carrying had an accident allegedly due to a bird attack. Luckily with his clever brain, Tae Sul can take over the plane and save all the passengers on the plane.

Slowly Tae Sul finds out that the accident was not due to bird attack. In the recording of the incident, Tae Sul sees the suitcase and the person who was thrown into the plane window, seeing him as the figure of Tae San's older brother.

Besides that this drama shows another side, where there are humans who live in secret. They have an ID number on their arm and leave with a mysterious suitcase.

Among them are Kang Seo Hae (Park Shin Hye) who had to part with his father. She is warned never to meet Tae Sul. But knowing the future, Seo Hae chooses to warn Tae Sul whose life is being threatened. /dreamers.id
