Kim Chung Ha guest starred in the latest episode of "Jessi's Showterview". On that occasion, the former IOI member was asked the real reason he chose to join the "Produce 101" participant in 2015.
"What is your reason for participating in 'Produce 101'," asked Jessi (Jessica H.o.). Kim Chung Ha revealed that at first, he was very afraid of the possibility of competing against 100 other trainees and was very lacking in confidence.
"At first, when I heard the number of contestants '101' ... Wow. Solid group photos were unusual in those days. I didn't have the confidence to compete with others," said Kim Chungha. This beautiful idol then revealed that he didn't want to waste how long he had been a trainee.
"I said that I had no confidence. It's embarrassing to waste all my time practicing. So I thought, 'I'm going to test myself.' Without considering that I would be selected for the final group, I thought, 'This is a competition against me, not the 101 contestants', "added Kim Chung Ha.
Kim Chung Ha then concluded by stating that he didn't want to leave any regrets without first doing everything in his power. "In terms of not leaving regrets, I jumped into the project," concluded Kim Chung Ha.
Back in 2015, Kim Chung Ha appeared on the first season of "Produce 101" as a trainee from MNH Entertainment. This idol born in 1996 was ranked fourth and successfully debuted as part of IOI.
However, because the group contract ended, IOI disbanded in 2017. Kim Chung Ha chose to debut again as a soloist and was quite successful. He recently presented a pre-release song titled "X" and is preparing for his full album comeback on February 15th. Don't miss providing support. (wk / charity)
