Kim Chung Ha guest starred in the latest episode of "Jessi's Showterview". On that occasion, Chung Ha talked about many things including his current career. Not only that, the "Roller Coaster" singer also expressed her feelings when asked about the IOI reunion.
During the interview, Chung Ha showed off his friendship with the former IOI members by saying that they still share thoughts on the recent teasers. The MC, Jessi (Jessica H.O.) then asked, "Say there is a chance for you to reunite with IOI and release an album. Will you do it?"
Hearing Jessi's question, Kim Chung Ha enthusiastically replied, "Yes, definitely. I came down for it". He continued, "It's our 5th anniversary and we (IOI) promised our fans to have a reunion on our 5th anniversary. I hope that happens, but ..."
Jessi then finished Chung Ha's sentence by saying, "It must be difficult because everyone is under a different label." Previously, IOI was rumored to be holding a reunion and releasing a new album. However, the plan has yet to be clear.
Back in 2015, Kim Chung Ha appeared on the first season of "Produce 101" as a trainee from MNH Entertainment. This idol born in 1996 was ranked fourth and successfully debuted as part of IOI.
However, because the group contract ended, IOI disbanded in 2017. Kim Chung Ha chose to debut again as a soloist and was quite successful.
