With three episodes left, OCN's hit drama 'The Uncanny Counter' is announced to undergo a change of scriptwriters. See the Complete Explanation of the following Drama.

The unpleasant news comes from OCN's hit drama "The Uncanny Counter". According to an exclusive report from SPOTV News, the production team for "The Uncanny Counter" was in a dispute that led to the scriptwriter, Yeo Ji Na, resigning.

After the reports circulated, the source of the drama finally spoke up. The source confirmed media reports, but denied the author's resignation was due to a serious dispute.

"It was not a serious dispute. He left the team after having a thorough professional conversation with the staff. He did it for the sake of the show," said a source from "The Uncanny Counter".

Before finding a replacement for the writer, this drama script was temporarily written by director Yoo Sun Dong. "Writer Yeo Ji Na wrote the script for episode 12 and director Yoo Sung Dong wrote the script for episode 13," he explained.

Episode 13 aired on Saturday (16/1) last night, meaning that the last episode written by Yeo Ji Na aired last week. That's why the audience might feel the different stories in the latest episode of the drama, starring Jo Byeong Gyu and Kim Sejeong.

Whether related to the change or not, the latest episode of "The Uncanny Counter" experienced a slight decrease in ratings compared to the previous one. According to Nielsen Korea, the drama's latest episode recorded a rating of 9.4 percent which marks a 1.1 percent drop from last week's episode.

Meanwhile, "The Uncanny Counter" often reaps praise for its interesting stories that are supported by the acting skills of the cast. As a result, this drama succeeded in becoming the highest rated OCN drama in history by displacing the record for "Voice" season 2.
