CJ ENM released an official statement responding to the termination of his unilateral contract with n.CH Entertainment, which was previously the management representative of the boy group TOO.
CJ ENM |
Previously, n.CH Entertainment admitted that they had collaborated with CJ ENM and Stone Music Entertainment. They started a contract back in 2018 which started preparations for the 'World Klass' program. However, n.CH Entertainment was suddenly asked to stop all activities towards TOO.
CJ ENM finally spoke up in response by explaining that n.CH Entertainment's contract actually ended in August 2020. CJ ENM and n.CH Entertainment spent 3 months negotiating to continue the contract, but could not find a bright spot and n.CH Entertainment was relinquished from its duties as TOO management.
They also added that, after much deliberation, CJ ENM admitted it would be better if they did not renew the contract. “There is no breach of contract or breach of documents involved. We do not owe any fees to n.CH Entertainment. Maybe they felt attached to TOO when they worked with the group from the start of 'World Klass', but there is no denying the fact that the co-management contract has ended. " said the representative of the entertainment media company.
Discussing the fate of TOO, CJ ENM also has not been able to provide certainty about the future of the boy group from the Mnet program 'World Klass'.
