BTS Wins Daesang or Main Award, While Kang Daniel Wins Many Trophies for the 2020 APAN Music Awards. Check out the complete list of winners below.
The 2020 APAN Music Awards hosted by Kim Jong Kook and Jeon So Min have announced the winners. APAN Awards, including the APAN Star Awards and APAN Music Awards, were supposed to be held in November 2020. However, due to the high number of positive COVID-19 in South Korea, the APAN Awards was finally postponed until January 23-24, 2021.
Most of the winners have been announced beforehand, namely the Popular Vote category, Top 10 Artist, and APAN Choice Awards. The Top 10 Artists were selected based on popularity votes, artists' achievements with physical and digital albums in 2020, as well as the scores from the judges. Meanwhile, the categories for Best Icon, Best Performance, Best Music Video, Best All-Rounder, Idol Champ Awards, and KT Seezn Star Award are determined by popularity votes.
Bangtan Boys (BTS) won the Daesang or the main award at the 2020 APAN Music Awards. Kang Daniel, who will comeback in February, also bought many awards, ranging from Top Artist, Best Performance, Idol Champ Fan's Pick - Solo, Idol Champ Global Pick - Solo , to the KT Seezn Star
