TWICE attended the 2020 MAMA recently.
After news that Chungha's solo artist was confirmed to have the coronavirus, JYP Entertainment released a statement that TWICE's Sana has recently been in close contact with Chungha. There has been sent for testing and is waiting for the results.
Not only was it reported that Sana had undergone the test, the other members and staff who had worked in close contact with Sana had all left for testing as well. They are currently awaiting their test results and will report the results as soon as possible.
All activities for the group and Chungha have been temporarily halted. However, this is also a concern for fans of other groups considering that TWICE recently attended MAMA 2020 on December 6, 2020. Even though the group did not gather on stage and wear masks, many gathered around the parking lot during the break. Masks are also removed for speech.
