Naver Released Most Wanted TV Shows List for 2020. Naver Divides It Into Two Categories, namely Top 5 for TV Programs and Top 5 Most Wanted Dramas.
The Naver portal is often referred to as the "Google of South Korea", considering that local people use it more for online searches. One of the things that people look for through Naver is of course information about TV shows.
Not long ago, Naver released a list of the most searched TV shows for 2020. Naver divided them into two categories, namely Top 5 for TV programs and Top 5 for most searched dramas. Check out the following list:

The number one most-searched K-drama on Naver in 2020 is "The World of the Married". This drama is also a Korean cable TV drama with the highest rating of all time.
Overtaking "SKY Castle", "The World of the Married" is adapted from the British BBC One series "Doctor Foster" which, tells the story of a married couple (Kim Hee Ae and Park Hae Joon) in their quest for revenge. The drama aired from March to May this year.
2. "Itaewon Class"
“Itaewon Class” is the 2nd most searched k-drama on Naver in 2020. The JTBC drama aired from January to March and recorded the 7th highest rating of all time for a Korean cable TV drama.
"Itaewon Class" is adapted from a webtoon that follows a former inmate (Park Seo Joon), who wants to expand his bar-restaurant into a successful franchise.
3. "Crash Landing On You"
"Crash Landing on You" is the 3rd most searched k-drama on Naver in 2020. This tvN drama earned the third highest rating of all time on Korean cable TV.
"Crash Landing on You" tells the story of a South Korean chaebol heir (Son Ye Jin) who literally crash lands in North Korea and is saved by the captain of the North Korean Special Police Force (Hyun Bin). The drama started in 2019, airing its final episode in February this year.
4. "Hospital Playlist"
"Hospital Playlist" became the fourth most searched k-drama on Naver in 2020. The tvN drama, which aired from March to May, became the 9th highest rated Korean cable drama in history. "Hospital Playlist" focuses on five doctors from the same social circle and health center. This drama will air season 2 in 2021.
5. "Once Again"
"Once Again" became the fifth most searched k-drama on Naver in 2020. This KBS drama, starring Lee Min Jung and Lee Sang Yeob, is centered on a doctor couple who are facing problems in their marriage and wider family circle. “Once Again” aired from March to September and achieved viewership ratings of 37 percent nationwide.
6. "Mr. Trot"
Entering the Top 5 most searched TV programs on Naver in 2020, "Mr. Trot" managed to rank first. After the last series, the Chosun TV program became the highest rated cable television broadcast in the country.
This male version of "Miss Trot" features male trot singers fighting for the crown. The top 3 singers this year are Lim Young Woong, YoungTak and Lee Chan Won.
7. "I Live Alone"
The second most-searched variety show on Naver in 2020 is MBC's "I Live Alone". Known as one of Korea's "real-life" series, this no-script program documents the lives of celebrities living alone following their daily routines. Currently, Hwasa Mamammo, Henry and Park Na Rae are some of the most popular members.
8. "Heart Signal" Season 3
The 3rd most-searched variety show on Naver in 2020 is the third season of Channel A's "Heart Signal". This reality series follows eight people who live together and date for a month, their actions being analyzed by a panel of celebrity hosts. This season's panel includes Block B's P.O, Lee Sang Min and Han Hyejin. The program's members have also been the subject of several bullying and harassment controversies.
9. "Hangout With Yoo"
The 4th most searched variety show on Naver in 2020 is MBC's “Hangout with Yoo”. The program centers on the popular television character Yoo Jae Seok having his day off.
This July, the program gave birth to the famous mixed music trio SSAK3 (consisting of Yoo Jae Seok, Lee Hyori and Rain). Yoo Jae Seok then produced Refund Sisters, a project group with Hwasa, Jessi, Uhm Jung Hwa and Lee Hyori.

The 5th most searched variety show on Naver in 2020 is SBS's "Running Man". This "urban action variety" program features members and guests competing in entertaining missions.
