On Monday (30/11), it was revealed that Bitto UP10TION tested positive for COVID-19, which made idols and staff who shared the same program undergo tests. On the same day, the results of Stray Kids and others were revealed.
UP10TION appeared on "Music Core" and "Inkigayo" on November 28 and 29, respectively. As a result, many singers who attended the two music programs underwent tests to prevent further spread.
It was revealed that the singers who took the test on Monday (30/11) were AKMU (Akdong Musician), TREASURE, NCT, aespa, CN BLUE, Chani SF9, Stray Kids, Naeun APRIL, Minhyuk MONSTA X, Bling Bling, STAYC, Kim Min Ju IZ * ONE, BTOB 4U, Natty, Norazo, and Cho Seung Youn.
On the same day, JYP Entertainment as the agency for Stray Kids announced the results of the boy group's test. As a result, Bang Chan and his friends did not catch COVID-19 and will continue their activities as usual starting December 1.
"Stray Kids did not come into contact with any confirmed cases on music shows over the weekend, however, the members underwent a COVID-19 test as a precautionary measure on November 30 as we consider their safety and health as top priority," said JYP Entertainment.
CN BLUE's Jung Yong Hwa also announced his test results via Twitter. "The results are negative, everyone. I apologize for causing you to worry! I hope my colleagues and other staff are all well!" he wrote.
Won Heum Norazo also shared on Instagram that 13 people on their team have received negative test results, including himself, fellow Norazo member Jo Bin, their manager, stylist, and members of the dance team, hair team, and makeup team. He shared that other staff members who had been tested at other locations might receive their results the following day, and he expressed his hope that the network staff, other singers, and other staff would all test negative results.
