'True Beauty' is Prepared to Replace 'Tale Of The Nine Tailed' Slots On TvN Wednesday - Thursday Night. The plan, the drama which also stars Cha Eunwoo will start airing on Wednesday (9/12) tomorrow.
Ahead of the premiere of "True Beauty", tvN is increasingly promoting. One of them is by releasing a photo of the scene belonging to Moon Ga Young who plays Lim Joo Kyung.
In the newly released stills, Lim Joo Kyung is seen standing in a dark room with a shocking appearance. Her eyes are bold with exaggerated smoky eye makeup, and her cheeks glow red from the excessive use of blush.
The look is enhanced by the striking red lips and hair that is left loose. That's why for a moment Lim Joo Kyung looks like a ghost that haunts the night.
Behind the creepy appearance, it was Lim Joo Kyung's first attempt to look beautiful with makeup. These photos suggest that she is not really an expert at makeup. But her cute and worrying appearance shows her awkward attempts to change her appearance.
In one interview, Moon Ga Young once gave a spoiler about her character's sad story in the first episode, which is related to her failure to make up herself. "Lim Joo Kyung went through a lot of trials and errors in the first episode before becoming very knowledgeable about makeup. I really enjoyed filming and I wanted to know what viewers would think of her," said the 24-year-old actress.
Meanwhile, "True Beauty" tells the story of high school student Lim Joo Kyung (Moon Ga Young) who looks pretty after putting on makeup. She experiences a heart-fluttering love story with the only man who knows her real face without makeup.
On the other hand there is a young man named Lee Su Ho, played by Cha Eunwoo. He has everything from looks, intelligence to basketball skills. Everyone falls in love with him but he has no interest in other people.
The drama itself is prepared to replace the broadcast slot "Tale of the Nine Tailed" on Wednesday - Thursday night tvN. The plan, the drama, which also stars Hwang In Yeop, will start airing on Wednesday (9/12) tomorrow.
