Google released a list of the 20 most searched K-Pop groups throughout 2020. And as expected, the name BTS (Bangtan Boys) still controls the list, followed by BLACKPINK (Black Pink) in second place.
Judging from the released chart, it appears that the search numbers for BTS have a considerable distance with BLACKPINK in second place. While JYP Entertainment's Twice group is in third place, followed by 2 SM Entertainment boy groups EXO and NCT in fourth and fifth.

Google also released a list of the 100 most searched K-Pop idols on the search engine throughout 2020. And BTS's maknae, Jungkook was the most searched, followed by 3 of his group mates such as V, Jimin, and Suga. BLACKPINK's Lisa is the female idol with the highest ranking on the list, which is fifth.
