YG Entertainment Officially Announced That BLACKPINK Will Hold Their First Online Concert, Titled 'YG Palm Stage - 2020 BLACKPINK: The Show'.
Good news comes from the girl group made by YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK (Black Pink). After making fans wonder, BLACKPINK finally announced that it would appear on the virtual stage later this month. This was announced through a cool video trailer.
On November 23rd, YG Entertainment released a teaser video entitled "BLACKPINK - Around The World". Starting with Seoul, the teaser features satellite view images of cities around the world along with the time for each city.
Towards the end, the video was scaled down to show planet Earth with a pink crown representing BLACKPINK. There is no detailed information in the teaser, but today, Thursday (3/12) the fans' curiosity has finally been answered.
YG Entertainment officially announced that BLACKPINK will be holding their first online concert, titled "YG Palm Stage - 2020 BLACKPINK: The Show". For this online concert, YG Entertainment will partner with YouTube Music.
It was further revealed that the concert will be broadcast live on December 27 at 2 p.m. KST (midnight ET). Apart from being BLACKPINK's first online concert, this upcoming event will also mark the launch of YG Entertainment's new concert brand “PALM STAGE”, named after the concert idea that fits in the palms of the audience.
Ahead of their upcoming concert, BLACKPINK will greet their fans and provide more details about the live streaming event through “BLACKPINK - 'The Show' Announcement Live” broadcast on YouTube on December 4 at 2 p.m. KST.
