Good news for South Korean movie lovers, because the film “Space Sweepers” will be broadcast on Netflix soon.
Space Sweepers is a Korean sci-fi thriller film starring Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Jin Sun Kyu, and Yoo Hai Jin.
Directed by Jo Sung Hee who previously directed "A Werewolf Boy" and "Phantom Detective", and produced by Sektoril Pictures, "Space Sweepers" tells about the life of a spaceship crew who finds a human-like robot named Dorothy.
Set in 2092, when the earth has become a nearly uninhabitable place, Spaceship Victory becomes one of the spaceships that survive by saving space debris. This plane outperforms the other survivors and is controlled by a team consisting of the genius pilot Tae Ho, the mysterious former pirate Captain Jang, the aircraft technician and ex-convict Tiger Park, and a reprogrammed military robot named Bubs.
When they manage to seize a wrecked spaceship in their latest mission, the team finds a seven-year-old girl on board. They also realized that this girl was a human-like robot that was being hunted by the UTS Space Force and decided to ask for a ransom as a substitute.
Song Joong Ki plays Tae Ho, a pilot who is willing to do anything for money. He also competed acting with Kim Tae Ri who became Captain Jang, Jin Sun Kyu as Tiger Park, and Yoo Hai Jin as Bubs.
