SNSD fans then flocked to provide evidence of SNSD's great achievement and influence in the music industry, thus making SNSD's keyword into the trending topic list on Twitter.
According to fan tweets, SNSD is known to have been called by Billboard as "the biggest and best girl group in the world, even bigger than the Spice Girls".
CNN media has also called SNSD a national phenomenon in South Korea and called them the Asian version of the Spice Girls.
