The drama “Snowdrop” starring BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Jung Hae In has postponed the shooting process.
According to an exclusive report from MyDaily media on Tuesday (24/11), an extras actor who participated on the set of the drama 'Snowdrop' was known to have had direct contact with a COVID-19 patient.
The extra actor made direct contact with the actor who tested positive for COVID-19 from another drama.
Therefore, starting Monday (23/11) yesterday the drama "Snowdrop" has stopped their filming process.
A representative from JTBC said, "We have confirmed that there are no staff and drama stars of 'Snowrdop' who have contracted COVID-19, but there are extras who have had direct contact with COVID-19 patients in other dramas."
“We have to stop filming to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and for the safety of the entire crew and drama stars 'Snowdrop'. We will wait for the test results, "said the JTBC.
Apart from the drama 'Snowdrop', various Korean dramas that have had to temporarily stop filming due to COVID-19 are MBN's 'Bossam - Stealing Destiny', SBS's 'Joseon Exorcist' and JTBC's 'Sisyphus'.
